At the eighth edition of Design Miami last month, Cappellini exhibited a unique project between art craft and design – the Inflated Wood Limited Edition by Brazilian designer Zanini de Zanine based in Rio de Janeiro. Created as part of the “Reclaimed Woods” project, the Inflated Wood is a limited series of three furniture pieces – an armchair, bench and a stool – made with an idea of material inflated and blown. The Limited Edition Inflated Wood has been made with Brazilian woods (Ipe and Rosewood) using contemporary techniques of carpentry.
The wood used in the making comes from the old farms and houses in Brazil. The Inflated Wood by Zanini de Zanine for Cappellini is comfortable and highly inviting.
