While a chair is nothing more than a chair to many, there are creative minds who think outside the box to convert a chair into a work of art. Designers have always been trying to give new form and function to the chairs. Designed by Canadian designer Nolan Herbut, the Cantaloupe chair balances on a sphere and lets the users incline on it according to their liking. To create this aesthetic piece for contemporary spaces, designer worked with random objects, such as fondue forks, turkey baser and a scrub pad.
The Cantaloupe lounge chair could be used both indoors and outdoors, be it your living room, your office or the patio. Nolan Herbut has used blue foam covered in fiberglass to create the beautiful Cantaloupe chair.
