Designed by Daniele Luciano Ferrazzano of DLF Product Design, the Rim Lamp from the design studio’s lamp-wheel series is a handmade floor lamp made with bicycle rims. The special bulbs used in the Rim Lamp make for a stunning shadow game that helps create a comforting ambiance. The user can turn on and off the lamps individually, and with the help of a small handle, you can transform the floors lamp into a reading lamp. The Rim Lamp flaunts matt white frame, black/gold shiny wheels and white/red cable for the standard version. The colors and designs can be customized to user’s preferences. The Rim Lamp has been awarded with the MINI Interior Design Award 2012.
