Stackable FIT shelves by Matt Prince Design meet your diverse needs

Fit shelves by Matt Prince Design

Designed by Launceston-based Matt Prince, a UTAS graduate in furniture design, the modular “Fit” shelving unit fits all. Created as a one-stop storage solution, the Fit stackable shelving system features Tasmanian Oak frame with natural stain and the shelves come with a powder coated color finish. These modular shelves fit together to create different configurations. The Tasmanian Oak legs are joined to metal tops to create a module, which can be stacked on another module. The Fit by Derlot Editions comes in three lengths of 1000mm, 1950mm and 2900mm and is stackable for up to five modules.

The “Fit” can be used to store books, photo frames, everyday objects or you could even use “Fit” as a seating unit or a dining table. Matt Prince has sold the design of his “Fit” shelving to Derlot Editions, a furniture design company specializing in Australian contemporary design. Launceston based companies, Designs in Timber and Tasfab, are manufacturing the Fit shelves which gives the package a ‘Designed and made in Tasmania’ label.
