Table Top Vinyl – A miniature phonograph for your coffee table

If you are looking for an elegant centerpiece for your coffee table that could spark conversations, you need to take a look at the Table Top Vinyl by Stephen Diebold. A minimalist, miniature version of a phonograph for coffee tables, the Table Top Vinyl comes with a rotating volume knob, which is a repurposed toothpaste cap, a swiveling arm and nine vinyl records. The record player sits stylishly on the tabletop and flaunts a single record sitting on the turntable. These records are meant for decoration only and double as coasters for drinks on the coffee table.

The phonograph itself is a decorative item. It comprises a gel-stained wooden body, a moving wooden arm, rotating plastic knob, rubber feet and a card stock wrap with a metallic finish. The phonograph also features a vinyl decal pinstripe around its body with a cursive spelling of the phonograph’s brand Diebold. The hollowed out area beneath the turntable is used to store extra records. Pulling up on the center post to the turntable reveals access to rest of the coasters. The records are black vinyl disks, but do not have any grooves of music recordings.

However, Stephen Diebold has personally re-drew the perfect reproduction labels from some of the biggest vinyls, including the original label designs for Thriller by Michael Jackson, Rumours by Fleetwood Mac, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band by the Beatles, and Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin.

Thanks, Stephen Diebold
