Every now and then, we come across lighting fixtures that are not only functional but also enjoy a touch of playfulness, and the Olab lamp is no exception. Created by interior designer Grégoire de Lafforest, the playful Olab lamp is shaped like a balloon and illuminates when the user squeezes the pump that looks like a bulb. Made with walnut plywood, lacquered steel and blown glass, the lamp has been created as an edition for Paris Galerie Gosserez. Since the lighting mechanism is hidden discretely, the Olab lamp appears to be magical.
