An upshot of exploration into the co-existence of Chaos and Sequence, the “Black Paper 37” is an unusually inviting armchair made from 37 paper layers and 20 details of gofer cardboard. Done by Russian designer Vadim Kibardin, the Black Paper 37 came into existence after a series of experiments with various materials. The aim of the project was to find beauty in disorder and then give it a functional, beautiful shape. Vadim Kibardin says that the simple paper has high constructional characteristics and can amaze through the splendor of its contours.
