Designed by Thomas Schnur of Germany, the Benchchair is a beautiful combination of a chair and a bench that draws inspiration from the famous Monobloc Chair. Part chair and part bench, the Benchchair enjoys a curvaceous shape that extends into a huge body, which makes for an intangible space. The unique form and the whole idea of a transformed hybrid asks for immediate attention. Its extended shape creates geometric forms, which adds sculptural touch to the hybrid bench-chair.
The Benchchair is made from fiberglass with smooth white finish, and will be exhibited at the Designers Fair Cologne in January 2013.
