“We don’t have a house. We bring our own house.” This is what a group of students and designers at Korea Sejong University say about their amazing Carry Home project. Carry Home is a set of six pieces of furniture that lets you set up a mobile home almost anywhere. It includes a wardrobe complete with hangers and compartments, a configurable bed, a suspension shelving with six spaces, a partition wall with shelves, a table and a stool. All the furniture units are completely collapsible and can be used when needed.
These furniture pieces, when collapsed, transform into boxes, suitcases and trunks for easy carriage. The design team included Byeongmin Choe, Sangok Sohn, Moonyong Kim, Sungeun Cho, Aram Choi, Gyejin Jun, Soojung Park, Sejin Lim, Dongha Kim, Sukyoo Bae and Sungwoo Lim.
