CES 2013: iRobot unveils new Mirra 530 pool cleaning robot

iRobot Mirra 530 pool cleaning robotiRobot, one of the leading firms in the global robot industry and most famous for its Roomba robotic vacuum cleaner, has now introduced the new Mirra 530 pool-cleaning robot that promises to offer an easy, economical solution to pool cleaning. Developed for use in in-ground pools, the Mirra 530 cleans the surface and the water without using the pool’s filtration system, hoses or booster pumps, thereby cutting down on electricity bills. The cleaning bot uses iAdapt Nautiq Responsive Cleaning Technology to ensure proper cleaning of the pool.

The iAdapt Nautiq system lets the robot select the best cleaning cycle for maximum efficiency. The Mirra 530 detects obstacles in its way, changes its direction accordingly and never tangles its own 60-foot power cord. It pumps and filters 70 gallons of pool water per minute. Carrying a suggested retail price of $1,300, the Mirra 530 pool cleaning robot, along with the Looj 330 Gutter Cleaning Robot, will be exhibited at the CES 2013 in Las Vegas.
