Massachusetts resident Derek Diedricksen, famous for tiny cabins, lately put his Gypsy Junker micro cabin on sale for $1,200 and now, he has build a recycled material coffee table dubbed “Funkadelic” using trash and pallets. The Funkadelic coffee table uses recycled wood and pallet boards on the top of a free aircraft shipping container and it rests on pipe fitting legs that cost Derek $20. The interested DIYers can go for cheap or free wooden legs.

The top of the coffee table can be lifted to access the huge storage area inside where you can keep a plenty of your stuff. You can even hang the tabletop as an art piece on the wall. Derek has plans to sell the Funkadelic coffee table after showcasing it in his “Tiny Yellow House” YouTube show.
