Edward Cella Art + Architecture exhibits Adam Silverman’s pots and sculptures

Los Angeles based Edward Cella Art + Architecture will be exhibiting a collection of functional, decorative pots by ceramics artist Adam Silverman (Nov. 17 – Dec. 29, 2012). The exhibition “New Pots and Sculptures” will feature a new series of Silverman’s much-admired pots, other than the small to medium scale sculptures. A full time professional potter since 2002, Silverman uses handcrafted bespoke materials and one-of-a-kind finishing techniques to create objects of desire. His work has been exhibited at many important spaces in Japan and the United States.

Silverman’s Boolean Valley, a large-scale installation piece, has been shaocased at The San Jose Museum of Art, The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles (MOCA), and The Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas. “New Pots and Sculptures” exhibition highlights new material and formal development in the artist’s practice as a potter.
