During the Stockholm Design Week 2013, French-Dutch design duo Färg & Blanche will be presenting the F-A-B collection, a collection of chairs that can be dressed up in a range of garments. The idea was to treat a chair as a body, which when dressed in garments, becomes more beautiful. The garments used to place over the factory-produced chairs’ back have been handmade in the designers’ Stockholm based atelier. The garments used for F-A-B CHAIR couture include small straight back panels and large cushioned backs in different fabrics and quilted patterns.
Emma Marga Blanche and Dutch designer Fredrik Färg started the design studio Färg & Blanche in 2010.
