The Bronze A’ Design Award winner in Furniture, Decorative Items and Homeware design category (2011 – 2012), the Growing Table by Nga Ying, Amy Sun has been designed as an outdoor coffee table. The Growing Table has been made from walnut hardwood, which reflects the soil color and creates a milieu to make the plant more visible. Offering a neat and stylish way to interact with nature, the Growing Table has a dedicated space for the plants to grow and create a relaxing space for the users. The tabletop surface diffuses light to create a greenhouse feature. All table components have been designed for easy assemblage and there is no need for the screws.
The Growing outdoor coffee table measures 660mm x 660mm x 660mm. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Nga Ying, Amy Sun is currently based in Los Angeles and aims to bring nature into urban modern life with her designs.
