Designed by Henry Wu, an industrial design student at California College of the Arts, the Sling chair is a minimalist seating unit that draws inspiration from the anticipation of trust fall. Created with a focus on use of materials and the appearance, the Sling chair lets you sit comfortably by adapting to your body. When someone sits on it, the veneer expands and changes the pattern. When you get up from the chair, the fabric bounces back to its original shape. The Sling chair has been made from steel tube bending, ponte fabric and maple wood veneer in a range of colors.
