Designed by Taís Mauk, an Industrial Design student at the Rhode Island School of Design, the Costanza Illuminati is an interactive lamp that displays weather forecasts. The project is based on the classic Luce Plan Costanza light, but with a playful and informative twist. The interactive Costanza Illuminati lamp integrates an alarm clock that awakes you with live video clips taken from your local weather forecast. After that, the lamp shows you the predicted weather throughout the day through clips.
All the information is taken through Wi-Fi connectivity. The built-in Pico projector projects directly onto the shade. The touch sensitive base of the Costanza Illuminati lamp lets users set the alarm time and the change settings.
