LG Hausys to present ‘Contemporary Décor’ at 100% Design show

At this year’s 100% Design show in UK, Korean firm LG Hausys is going to showcase its sophisticated setting dubbed “Contemporary Décor,” which will feature a kitchen made entirely from a new generation acrylic stone. Perfect for both the residential and commercial applications, HI-MACS Acrylic Solid Surface is highly attractive, resistance to stains and boasts hygienic characteristics, thereby making it a great choice for architects and designers. With an aim to create the decorative elements with a modern makeover, the LG Hausys stand will use white surfaces made from rounded layers. They have used HI-MACS in the in the kitchen and the domestic appliances used in the design.

During the Milan Design Week 2012, LG Hausys global stand “Contemporary Décor” displayed a kitchen crafted entirely from HI-MACS, which featured curved shapes moving upwards to complement perfectly the functional horizontal surfaces. LG Hausys Limited will also put on display a sculpture made from HI-MACS and designed by Ora-Ito for Reebok. The 100% Design show runs from Sept. 19-22, 2012.
