Liquid Glacial table wins ‘2012 Contemporary Design Piece’ award at PAD

The stunning Liquid Glacial coffee table by renowned architect Zaha Hadid has grabbed the ‘2012 Contemporary Design Piece’ award at the Pavilion of Art + Design (PAD), London’s leading fair for 20th Century art, design and decorative arts. Pioneer gallerist David Gill presented the beautifully cool Liquid Glacial table at the show. While the glassy tabletop looks like a frozen lake, the table legs feature a rippling pattern that reminds of intense vortex of water.

Made entirely from new-fangled acrylic resin, the Liquid Glacial table is a masterpiece that appears to be switching between different states of water. Liquid Glacial is sure to leave everyone spellbound with its elementary geometry of the flat tabletop and the intriguing glacial appearance.
