Before I spotted the Log Pile Coffee Table, I never thought that the huge piles of wood stacked inside my living room could look great. Designed by Alexander Purcell Rodrigues, the Log Pile Coffee Table draws inspiration from the piles of firewood. It features a base made with Douglas Fir logs, a thick glass tabletop suspended on top and hidden pull-out drawers for storage. The Log Pile side table highlights an aesthetic formalization of lumber in its rawest form, with the methodical standardization of the logs into rectangular sections.
Manufactured at Los Angeles-based Purcell Living, the Log Pile coffee table will set you back a cool $3,600.
