Saqua combines functions of a sink and toilet in one unit

Designed for modem and eco friendly living, the Saqua is a minimalist fixture that combines a sink and a toilet in one unit. Designed by Alvaro Ares of Toledo, Spain, Saqua reuses the water from basin to be used later in the toilet, thereby savings more than 3,000 liters per person every year. When the water goes down the bathroom sink drain, Saqua drains, filters and disinfects the water, which is then sent to a reservoir tank of 15-liter capacity. Since it needs a lot of water for flushing the toilet, the Saqua offers a neat water saving solution by reusing the water that goes down the drain and is wasted.
