At the Consumer Electronics Show 2013 in Las Vegas, innovative technology solutions firm Rambus has introduced its new line of highly efficient, long lasting and innovative LED light bulbs. The revolutionary Rambus LED light bulb offers the light output of a traditional bulb, coupled with the energy efficiency, durability and reliability of advanced LED and optical technology. Belkin, the company that specializes in connectivity devices, has announced the expansion of its famous WeMo line with a new internet connected light switch. Offering Wi-Fi-connected remote home automation to the homeowners, the WeMo Light Switch is internet connected and lets users control wired household lighting from anywhere. The WeMo Light Switch connects to your existing electrical wiring and lets you turn on and off the lights remotely through a smartphone, tablet or PC. The light switch can be controlled via the free WeMo app.

iRobot, one of the leading firms in the global robot industry and most famous for its Roomba robotic vacuum cleaner, has now introduced the new Mirra 530 pool-cleaning robot that promises to offer an easy, economical solution to pool cleaning. Developed for use in in-ground pools, the Mirra 530 cleans the surface and the water without using the pool’s filtration system, hoses or booster pumps, thereby cutting down on electricity bills. iHome, the manufacturer of award-winning clock radios and speaker systems for iDevices, has announced its CES 2013 lineup, which includes the company’s first Lightning-compatible docks for iPhone 5, iPad Mini, iPad with Retina Display and iPod touch. Other products on display will be Bluetooth speakers, headphones, Boomboxes and a new Cord Cruncher Cable. Priced at $149.99, the iHome iDL100 alarm clock dock features two Lightning docks and a universal USB dock to charge and play audio from iDevices. An auto sync feature synchronizes the unit with the time on iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch. The dock also comes with an aux-in jack for 3.5mm audio cable.

CES 2013: Best of Innovations honoree Switch 3-Way LED Bulb to make public debut
Switch Lighting, a Silicon Valley form with a mission to replace the inefficient incandescent bulbs with affordable LED bulbs, has now announced to make the first public debut of its SWITCH 3-Way LED bulb at the CES 2013. The 3-Way LED Bulb was recognized as a CES “Best of Innovations” honoree in the Eco-Design and Sustainable Technologies product category in October at the 2013 International CES Press Preview. The Switch 3-Way is 25/50/75 watt-equivalent LED bulb that works in three-way lighting fixtures. The Switch 3-Way design uses up to 80 percent less energy than the incandescent bulb.
