As a tribute to the Roman Baroque period, acclaimed designers Fernando and Humberto Campana have designed the limited edition Anhanguera sofa, which is priced at a hefty $193,000. The luxurious Mongolian lamb sofa has been tightened with ribbons of bronze sculpture. Part of Campana Brothers’ Brazilian Baroque collection commissioned by Galleria O in Rome, the Anhanguera sofa is on display at the gallery Les Arts Décoratifs, 107 rue de Rivoli, Paris.
For the bronze ornaments, the design duo teamed up with the renowned artisans in Rome. Fernando Campana cited that this sofa is highly deceptive and it been named after the road that connects Saõ Paulo to Brotas, the hometown of the Campana brothers.
