While buying furniture that’s easy to ship, you might have to compromise on design and stability, but that’s not the case with the Wanderlust chair. Designed with urban nomads in mind, the Wanderlust (meaning “a strong desire to travel”) by Jess Stubenbord seems to be a great furniture piece for those who move around a lot. When collapsed, the Wanderlust chair takes just 1/5th of its area, which makes it easier to store and transport as well as less expensive to ship.
The sturdy Wanderlust chair uses a Kevlar composite for the body and high-grade aluminum for its joints and connections. For the seat, the designer has opted for comfortable yet tough quilted leather that slides off to make space for storage.
