Helios by Slamp: Huge luminous totem with the emotional impact

Since its entry into the lighting design market in 1994, Italian firm Slamp has been offering stunning lighting fixtures. New for 2012 from the house is the Helios lamp, which was exhibited at the Light + Building fair in Frankfurt. The design of the huge Helios floor lamp has been inspired by the flow of a waterfall across the rounded pebbles of a creek. The Plexiglas cylinder stands 182cm high and produces eye-catching, soothing light.

The luminous totem combines a sense of technological development with the emotional values of the Slamp collections. The use of innovative Lentiflex for the lamp generates light that’s “liquid” and uniform. With the Iridescent Polycarbonate, the lamp with prisma color makes for amazing reflections. The Helios lamp has been designed around emotional technology and will undoubtedly add dynamism to any living space.
