Although I am not sure how comfortable this chair is to sit on, but it looks too good to be ignored. However, there is no more information available concerning the chair, except for the fact that it is still in a prototyping phase. The Degenerate Chair in oak by Daniel Widrig Studio is more an experimental piece and will be available in a limited edition of 20 pieces in the near future. Pricing for the Degenerate chair (0.45m x 0.40m x 0.40m) hasn’t been decided yet.
Daniel Widrig has worked closely with renowned architect Zaha Hadid for a range of award winning architectural projects and products. He currently manages a team of specialists in a broad range of fields, which include furniture, fashion, sculpture, stage design and architecture. One of his more latest commissioned works is the De-Optimised chair.
