Born out of the desire to strip the desk lamp back to its very essence, the compact and minimalist 490 Desk Lamp features a 3W LED with a life span of around 40,000 hours. The energy efficient desk lamp flaunts three-stage dimming, which is done with a touch sensor. Designed by R.Wells and J.Schotte, and made by Group Design, the 490 Desk Lamp has laser-cut steel body with powder-coated pure white or quartz grey finish. The cable is either red or black, which adds an aesthetic contrast to the lamp’s body. The beautiful luminaire sells for £150.
