All hope left hobbit Frodo Baggins when he saw the surreal Barad-dûr, also known as the Dark Tower, in The Fellowship of the Ring. The massive fortress Barad-dûr was built by Sauron, the Dark Lord of Mordor.  For The Lord of the Rings film trilogy by Peter Jackson, Richard Taylor and his design team built a 30 ft (9 m) high miniature, or you could say a “bigature”, of Barad-dûr for use in the film. Now, the Barad-dûr is available as a collector’s edition desk lamp dubbed “Eye of Sauron” desk lamp.

To create the one-of-a-kind lamp, artist David Tremont and his team brought its size down to just shorter than 21 inches high, which makes it perfect for use on the desk or side table. The Eye of Sauron Desk Lamp is made from polystone and comes coated with a protective layer of polyurethane. The lamp is hand painted and boasts LED technology. When plugged in, the lamp starts turning its roving eye to watch you work.

With attention paid to every single detail, the Eye of Sauron Desk Lamp brings the light from darkness to cast a magical glow on your desk. The  Barad-dûr desk lamp could be yours for $299.99 only.
