Designed by Héctor Vázquez González from Mexico, in collaboration with Global Consumer Design team of Whirlpool México, the Hydroshot water filter for kitchen was developed with an aim to save time and money people invest in buying purified water for home. The idea was to develop a water filter with a capability to blend in different socioeconomic levels simply by changing materials. The purpose of Hydroshot water filter is to displace 18.9 liter of water bottles from the kitchens.
The cartridge works mainly with activated carbon. The Hydroshot’s interface boasts used LED to indicate the proper functioning of filter and the battery level.
