At the upcoming Maison & Objet 2013 show in Paris, luxury furniture maker KOKET and The Global Fund for Widows, an American non-profit organization dedicated to empowering widows, will showcase the luxurious Camilia cabinet and Camilia armoire. Fit for royalty, the Camilia has been created to complement the opulent, imperial dining rooms with its magnificence. The Camilia armoire and cabinet draws inspiration from the royal palaces of the Alexandrian pashas of Egypt and is done in luxury materials like mother of pearl and gold leaf. The highlight of the Camilia is a hand-carved peacock that comes engraved and finished in gold leaf.

The Camilia line has been made to benefit widows and female heads of households who are facing financial problems in the developing world. Proceeds from sales of the Camilia will help create opportunities of health, security and stability for such widows.
