OSSA folding chair by Solveig Johannessen and Krystin Clarke

Folding chairs are an expedient solution to small space seating and the OSSA chair by Canadian designers Solveig Johannessen and Krystin Clarke is no exception. Interestingly, the OSSA chair somehow looks like one outdone AT-AT when folded. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the OSSA folding dining chair flaunts spine-like joints at the center. OSSA is the Latin name for bones. The angles and exact spacing of the spine hinge helps bend the bones in one direction and keeps intact the position when opened.

The OSSA folding chair features white powder coated stainless steel, western larch seat and leather strap. Even though the chair doesn’t fold very flat, its functionality makes a lot of sense for small spaces.
