Run by design duo Michael Thomas Host and Tanja Hinder, Vancouver based “MTH Woodworks” creates exceptional furniture pieces by combining salvaged Western Red Cedar tree stumps and birch branches with organic resin. The Bloom coffee table from the house, which comes in custom shapes, sizes and colors, has been made using salvaged cedar base and non-toxic resin. While creating these conversation starters, each base was hand-salvaged, dried, peeled, sandblasted and cut to size.
