Sustainable Topanga Shelves make for a stylish décor statement

American firm Environment Furniture deals in modern furniture made with sustainably harvested wood and discarded materials, and one of the best offerings from the house is the Topanga Shelves. The modular Topanga Collection features an environmentally friendly shelving system made with honeycomb panels and cantilevered design.

Designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, creative director at Environment Furniture, the Topanga Shelves enjoys a nature-inspired make and uses recycled, post-consumer paper pulp for the honeycomb paneling, which makes is lightweight. The glue used is water-based and nontoxic. The finish options include recycled content Kraft paper, upcycled newspaper, Collector’s Edition artist paintings and design-your-own custom finishing.
