The decorations also honor the military families this year. In the season of ‘giving’, perhaps this tradition started by the First Lady will be a time-honored tradition in the coming years and honor the brave soldiers who fight our battles.

If shimmer has been used , it is used as paint on bio-degradable stuff like pinecones and nutcrackers. You can use all of these while decorating your home for Christmas. Since all the decorations are hand-crafted by volunteers, you can DIY at your own home too!
  • The different rooms – There are different sights to be seen in every room of the White House. In the library, the basket at the foot of the fireplace is something you can include in your home. The East Colonnade has wreaths which are evergreen and stained glass and the Red room has a fantastic display of a flower arrangement of scarlet and fuchsia flowers and berries which you can try out in your homes.
