Corian Color Evolution: The Leftover Collection by Rabih Hage

Presented at the Salone del Mobile show this year, the Leftover Collection designed by Rabih Hage explores the usage of leftover material. He has used the salvaged planks to create colorful, luxurious furniture pieces.  The Leftover Collection was designed for DuPont Corian Color Evolution and presents how cheap, discarded materials could be used to make something unique, eye-catching and most importantly, luxurious.

The Leftover Collection by Rabih Hage includes “Color Console” bookshelf and console table, “Leftover Table” desk or dining table, “Leftover Armchair” visitors chair and “Color Chair” desk chair. Rabih Hage cites…

Imperfection is beauty; a discarded material is as noble and precious as a newly polished stone.

To create this colorful furniture line, Hage has randomly layered the off-cuts as an impressive design statement. An architect and an interior designer, Rabih Hage was nominated the British Interior Design Association’s Interior Designer of the year in 2004.
