Considering the fact that most of the toasters in the market toast the bread based on time yet without consistency between brands, models and toasters, which accounts for inconsistent results, GeorgiaTech design student Basheer Tome has designed the Hue toaster. The innovative appliance lets you toast the bread based on color and not time. Hue toaster has color sensors and an easy interface, which lets users select their color preferences, such as golden brown or burnt brown.
Hue toaster makes sure that the toast is browned exactly to the color selected irrespective of the variations in time or climate. When the sensors hit their mark, the toasting stops automatically. Hue’s color sensors determine the color difference between the two sides and adjust the heat intensity accordingly.
