Spun from a single sheet of metal, the ‘Last Stool’ by London based designer Max Lamb is done in copper or enamelled steel in a range of hues. Made for Discipline, Italy, the Last Stool flaunts ribbed detailing, which allows easy and effective hand grip for lifting and moving. Multiple stools can be stacked with utmost ease. Designed with an idea to bear the harshness of daily use, the Last Stool is minimalist, highly functional and pleasing to the eye.
The name ‘Last Stool’ comes from the mandrel used by the shoemakers to convert a flat piece of leather into the shape of a foot.
