Upwell Design, San Francisco based multidisciplinary design studio directed by Justin Porcano, has earlier given us the Wallplates, the highly functional light switch cover plates. Now, the design house has launched a funding campaign for the Walhub, the successor to the Wallplates. The Walhub is a series of functional switch plates that feature built-in storage and are available with Toggle and 2Hang options. The Wallhub works with your existing light switches.
The Wallhub adds functionality to your space with an intelligent hook design to accommodate daily use stuff, such as keys, phones, scarves, coats and umbrellas. It also has a pocket to store mails, bills and other documents. The Wallhub eliminates the need for buying additional individual hooks, magnets or shelving systems. The campaign has been launched for the second time considering the different types of existing light switch scenarios. Upwell Design is now offering six different types of Walhubs instead of only two.
